One of my Tecumseh HM80 motors with the Tillotson HL-360A 262 carb, Mikuni fuel pump, throttle linkage and supporting hardware mounted, i used this block (awaiting rebulid) to check the fit of the physical parts and lines. The "unique" features of this HL360 (long shaft idle adjustment ,dial type high speed adjustment, pulse fitting for primer?) meant that there was little to no space to mount the exhaust header. Mounting the carb fuel fitting down allowed me to get around this with enough clearance between the throttle and the exhaust. The Mikuni fuel pump may require a rebuild but i've got a Walbro WIP22 on hand to test as well. To provide a pulse to the fuel pump, i installed a suitable 1/4" fitting into the dipstick hole. If all is ok with the setup pictured, next step is to move the upgraded parts over to another HM80 currently running a stock setup (see earlier HM80 vids) It's all "homebrew" - any constructive comments or suggestions are definitely welcome.
